Hi,

is it possible to show some short description and text length on each product which is shown under eg. featured products? Like in categorie layout?

Hi
To add the description in the Virtualmart Product module , please check the suggestion given Here on Virtualmart forum .

Please note there is an override of the Product module inside the template folder , so u need to apply changes in this file too .
Here is path of override : templates/ja_techzone/html/mod_virtuemart_product/default.php

Hi, thanks for your reply. The how to is okay, but I can’t find some special parts like in the mod_virtuemart_product.php

if (!class_exists( 'VmModel' )) require(JPATH_ADMINISTRATOR.DS.'components'.DS.'com_virtuemart'.DS.'helpers'.DS.'vmmodel.php');

This part is missing.

Hi you need to at the code manually because it’s an override and doesn’t contain all the codes.
