Hey there JA,

I know things are a little tough at your end, but I’m getting desperate for that 1.3.1 release (in particular, the integration of JComments)… I really need to take this site live but don’t want to do so with IntenseDebate (or the others) when I can have an integrated solution with JComments.

Can we please have a revised timeline? Hopefully, a brief one 🙂

An update on version 1.3.1 would be nice – as my widget that I have placed on a test site does not work either. Basically the widget works but when i hit the “Create a question” button and I complete the form and click on the “post” button on the actual website – nothing happens at all????? :confused:

Is this fixed in V1.3.1 and when is it due out – I purchased my copy over 1 month ago and have not been able to use it at all to be honest :((

agreed.

this component has potential to be an amazing addition to the Joomla community. especially if they listen to our requests for integreation with other 3rd party components.

i just feel they don’t have enough people working on it, or it’s just not really high on their ‘to-do’ list.

It is a shame, over a month now for paying the full enterprise license and still no version that I can actually use. I guess I should have simply waited until it was stable really – I have asked why the widget is not working when you “Create a question” from it and try and post it to the site but still no answer from the forum admins :(( its dissappointing as I like the work of joomlart.

haha…If you have a problem they’re going to tell you to “create a support ticket as that is the best way to get support” :laugh:… however, I agree with you, it’s been way to long since the last update. I paid a good deal of money for the component and there has been no development that I can see.>:(

Who said anything about this component not being stable? Does it say that on the demo somewhere? Did I miss something? As far as I can tell, it works as it does on the demo, but I’m with bmtoth – I bought it with the promise of 1.3.1 having JComments and Jomsocial integration… and I’m disappointed in the lag time to get it.

Well.

Apparently they can find the time to create Drupal themes now, but they can’t find the time to update and enhance JA Voice.

Its a bit disappointing :(( I wish, they would just update there roadmap accurately or at least supply support for it here in the forum. V1.3.0 just does not work right so I am surprised they have not picked up on this!!

Support is something they’ve never been very good at. I was hopeful when I read at the start of 2010 that it was something they were going to address, but, apparently nothing has changed.

I agree updating the Roadmap would be a good idea. But I also hate it when developers say “at the start of early next week” and then it doesn’t happen and then they are mysteriously absent from the forums.

This component needs a serious upgrade and they need to stop focusing on developing themes for totally different platforms…. oh well. It feels good to vent. :laugh:

I know how yo u feel!! I am a pretty patient person but I think if you pay out this much for one component there should be some forum support :((

I can’t understand where 1.3.1 is considering 1.3.0 is actually not usable.
