    Hi,

I am really sorry that we could not meet the deadline for this project 🙁 There are some reasons to make this fail. Resources limits and some new changes updated in J1.6 version are the main reasons.

We intend to use J1.6 release as standard version for development in future so that it takes more time than we plan. For now, our Test team is working hard on this and i hope that it will be released very soon.

    Highly appreciate your great patience.

    Thanks.

Have you news of the project or is it abandoned?

    Could you tell us more?
What are the expected developments in this new version?

    Thank you.

Any update on the release of this? The lack of accurate timelines, and delayed responses are a GREAT way to ensure we stop paying for components, modules, plugins and templates that may or may not be available at some point perhaps in the future maybe. I’d rather spend my dollars with a company that says something, then sticks to their word.

Any accurate update would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

JA Voice for j1.6 is being tested before coming out. I have checked our dev team and would like to confirm that as planned, it will be available no later than August 2011.

    Hi,

Although JA Voice j1.6 has been converted already by our Dev team but it is waiting for final test before coming out. However, for now, our Test team is focusing on releasing templates compatible with J1.7 so that it has not been launched on time. After all the templates are out for J 1.7. We then release JA Comment, JA Showcase and JA Voice for sure.

    Highly appreciate your great patience.

As usual first starts with some excuse, with no actual date and I am sure in the next post you will post, okay we will release it by Dec 2011!

I really need this for Joomla 1.6 and waited a long time, nearly 7 months. I am really sorry but you are mentioning this expression “final test” now for several months, how man months more a “final test” would take? If it was a final test it could be done in few days! I think you have made a big mistake continuing to release one template per month, you could only update your previous templates and then start releasing new templates (what is the point of new templates when you have many problems with your previous extensions including top-panel and Ja google translate, etc).

I think it is good practice to say the truth, not to say it would be released in two weeks and then 5 months passes and then still “final test”. I suppose there are great amount of cultural issues.

Bang up job letting down the community that actually supported and waited for this extension. I suppose revenue stream on new templates MAY look better. However, up-selling EXISTING customers is far easier and cheaper than convincing NEW customers to buy stuff.
You had ALREADY convinced us to become customers, and we were READY and WAITING for a new product. But instead, you ignored us, and relegated us in lieu of trying to get NEW customers when the market is rife with hundreds of competitors in the Templates segment. In my opinion, JA really screwed up on this one. You broke business rules 101: “Keep existing customers happy.” Without that, you just lost a boatload of dedicated JA fans that would have been your marketing and selling engine for the next couple years. But instead, we are now going to use other companies solutions, and promote those OVER your offerings.
