July 24, 2012 at 7:26 am #462015It could be the connection from my end, I’m not sure. Being overseas can be problematic at times. But as you can see in my previous post, even pingdom faced the same problem and had to wait for a strange amount of seconds before the first byte could be downloaded from your site. Once that strange waiting time is gone, everything loads very smoothly. That is the problem I have with your site.
But what is the problem when you say, you still always have the same problem? Could you elaborate further? Cause honestly, it’s not really a resource issue, so changing the plans in the same host is not going to help. You need to migrate to a new host if you truly want to test. Look at arvixe’s forum, there’s so many complains about slowness from resellers but the admins keep claiming otherwise.
Sure number speaks, but there’s no reason for so many ppl to lie about the same problem. It’s just like how simulation and actual experience are both very different even though they can be said to be generally the same.
Here’s my site, I’m using K2 with JA Wall and it’s quite image intensive since I put high quality images in my articles.
http://sg.greatwalldeals.com/You can test and see the loading spd for you. Compare it to your own site, just normal surfing experience. No pingdom, no numbers crunching. Do you still see that same problem that you say have?

July 24, 2012 at 8:33 am #462030I’m currently hosted by http://www.vodien.com/ on their cheapest shared hosting plan in the Singapore data center. They have the option to purchased the hosting plan on a USA hosted server though, that would be better for you. Do tell them you need php 5.3+ so they will move you onto a server that has it. The server that was hosting my site originally had 5.2.6 until I requested and they gave me a free migration at no extra cost. Fair deal in my opinion.
This slip my mind just now but I just remembered there’s a promotional code for 3 months free trial. You can use that to test and decide. Code can be found here. http://www.vodien.com/smu.php

July 24, 2012 at 9:36 am #462038They do not talk about “bandwidth”, Memory, CPU, etc.
If it is very limited we have to pay extras… ???Thanks

July 24, 2012 at 10:14 am #462042Since when does shared hosting reveals what hardware they are running on, and how many ppl are sharing the same server/pipeline? The general standard is 30 people per server though and the resources are generally dynamic. If you hoard the resources, you will get penalize by the algorithm. Business plans normally have better servers(though one find that hard to believe), but their pipeline is normally bigger and no more than 10 – 15 ppl sharing the resources.
But if you want very specific hardware requirements, you are looking for a VPS. But even VPS resources are shared to some extend. Even a dedicated and co-located server shares pipeline with a few other servers. The whole hosting thing is actually a big consumer scam because there’s no real thing as, this is yours and yours only. You can however pay for dedicated bandwidth but just 2mbps alone to be dedicated to you alone, the cost is x10 if not more. You’re better off sharing the 10/100mbps pipe for just site hosting. Video streaming sites or file hosting sites would then require dedicated bandwidth.
Shared hosting normally allows you to just add additional static IP(for SSL), domains, backups or some archive crap. Those cost you extra if you need them. Adding of bandwidth(bigger pipe), dedicated bandwidth, hardware are only limited to VPS and Dedicated Servers. In co-location, the server is yours to upgrade and manage however you please at no extra cost. You only pay for the pipe but the server is owned by you.
I hope that explanation clears things up for you.

July 28, 2012 at 1:12 pm #462457I think it’s just the contents k2 (no feeds) that does not load well on the first page of the site…
And your site is only the k2 feeds
http://sg.greatwalldeals.com/My host can not do anything
If I change my host probably will not solve my problem…My host
“Hi,
Regarding your complaint of slow loading of site, We have looked into the issue, server load is normal at this time. All services are also up and responding fine. Here is server load average which is normal for any shard server:
—
13:25:20 up 52 days, 14:18, 3 users, load average: 2.92, 3.84, 3.01
—We tested your site from our end as well as using online website load time testing tools and it loaded within 7 seconds because of graphic rich web pages. You can have a look at the test results on the following URL, it shows your site is loading a good number of images and external links which are adding to the overall load time of the site.
http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/w3VUDS8zt/http://adoroo.com/
Further, we also noticed that your site is using a high share from server CPU and Memory and causing load issues on the shared server: Please have a look at your resource usage for last 24 hours below:

pedrox adoroo.com 14.19 0.00 0.2
Top Process %CPU 100 /usr/bin/php /home/pedrox/public_html/index.php
Top Process %CPU 99.9 /usr/bin/php /home/pedrox/public_html/index.php
Top Process %CPU 94.5 /usr/bin/php /home/pedrox/public_html/index.php
—We would recommend optimizing your site configurations, reducing size of images and using less number of external URL to increase overload loading time.”.
I’m only using 7 feeds…
But the pages do not have problems with feeds. the problem is with the contents k2 (no feeds) …pages with feeds work well
