hello,

i uploaded and installed the quickstart site and that seems to be working fine.
I then imported a few 1000 KO2 articels and they do show up in the backend and in the fronted when i search for them, however, if i look in the fronted on the normal JA wall view, it loads up the most recent articles. All is fine, but then when you scroll down, and it should load older articles, it reloads the most recent articles…

Hi

As I can see in the K2 page on your site, it’s displaying correctly – the new created items first and the older ones.

Anyways, you can change the ordering of items via back-end settings of its menu item.

And when you scroll further down, it should load even older items? instead it is reloadin the content it was already showing?

I already typed this info in my first posting 🙁

I tried to access K2 component on your site but I’m noticed with this message:

Not Acceptable!

An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security.

Could you help to check this?

I do not get this error.
I have no Mod_security installed? This is just the standard quickinstall joomlart provides for this template.
Please help me, tell me what to check.

Mod_security apears to be a apache option set by the hosting company, to fight hackers.

Anyway, the site is showing for everyone here in Belgium, and is hosted in the USA.
I noticed the standard articles are with the standard article manager, but we use K2, and K2 is provided with the standard quickstart and should work?

Yes, K2 goes with this template package by default, and it should work.

I would like to check this K2 component and see what’s wrong. You can try to select one by one K2 category for the K2 menu item that has issue and see how it goes.

And also make sure that you don’t have duplicated item in category.

Ok, I was unable to filter by categoery in the back-end so i decided to reinstall K2.
Now i can filter in the back-end, but it made no difference to the front of the site.

I deleted the imported content from the old site, and imported the content from joomla articles into K2 . Same Problem

I deleted all the content from K2, made a new categorie and made 22 test articles in K2, still the same issue, it is loading the 10 last articles.

Try deleting the records again from the component, then check the K2 database tables using phpMyAdmin to see if any content records exist is the K2 tables. If you find records, manually delete than using phpMyAdmin.

In the previous JA-Wall quickstart release, I found about a hundred orphan records assigned to no category. I am assuming the latest release uses the same database inserts.

I tried to switch template to a default Joomla template like Beez / Protostar but the problem still persists.

What I did was going to the backend settings of a K2 menu item (K2 / K2 blog style) and assign it to Protostar template style . Then in frontend, it shows 2 pages but with duplicated K2 items. This means that there is something wrong with K2 component on your site.

You can give it a try to see the same.

If possible, take a full backup of your site and re-install K2 component on your site and see how it goes.
