I recently installed the JA Wall template on my Joomla 2.5.11 and while it says that the template was installed successfully, the frontend is showing a blank page. I would really appreciate help on this.

By this do you mean the quickstart package?

When I did it says “There was an error uploading this file to the server.”. It should work without the sample data though, shouldn’t it? Shouldn’t I be able to at least see the top menu? The entire page is blank.

I would really appreciate some developer help if possible. If I can’t get this to work, then I just wasted my money, and I will be incredibly disappointed. Thank you in advance.

You can ask Mod of this board to help you. Give them FTP acc, I had no problem with the installation.

    Hi,

When I did it says “There was an error uploading this file to the server.”.

This appears to be an issue of your server, it may limit the size of uploaded file, please try to change the maximum upload file value to a greater one, it will help.

But supposedly I don’t need the quickstart package in the first place. Shouldn’t I be able to just use the template package on it’s own?

Absolutely, you can install template package. Each JA template released, we always provide 2 packages to install:

    – Quickstart: you can install like a joomla package and you have it looks like the demo site with sample data and template/extensions installed and available to be used

    – Template package: you can install template separately, you should install Joomla package first, then install template

    Hope this makes senses.

    🙂
