My first attempt at a classified ads site wondering what people thought

Hi,
First impressions are ‘Wow, that’s bloody good. Wish I could make my site work as well as yours.’
The template works well for the purpose of the site.
The ability to separate the home page out into separate areas is excellent. Its clear and easy to see what the site does. SOme of the headings take users to articles which tell users how to achieve things, why not add some screen shots to these articles to make it clearer?
Language used is clear however some of the error messages are a bit user unfriendly. I tried to add a listing within EZ_Autos and it came back with ‘You are not authorised to view this resource.’ Do you know how to change the default Joomla error messages, something a bit less techie and more explanatory would improve the site? If you do know, please could you tell me how to do it. 😉
EZ-Autos won’t let me look at listings from the links on the home page, unless I’m logged in. I found this a bit weird. Surely everyone should be able to look at a listing?
Your icons are nice, are they from a library?
Minor bugs:
Mac / Safari: Home page. The flash on the right hand side seems to break the template and the image ‘sticks out’ of the design. I also found the sound effect slightly annoying.
Minor typo. The menu heading for ‘serach events’ is wrong.
Anyway, I find it quite an inspiration. Think you’ve achieved loads there.

I am interested in learning more about the 3 items near the top of the page which have slide-up text when the mouse is moved over them.
Did you use something that others can use? It’s very cool.
