Dear Joomlart-Team
as my planned website contains too many menu-items to place them horizontal, I need to use a vertical “main menu”. But the implemented funky menu-options (JA Xenia) seem only applicable to the horizontal menu.
Is there any way I can use the “normal” vertical Main Menu but still have the option to use e.g. the transmenu-option?

Hi Jochen
Transmenu can be applied to a vertical menu, you can assign slides left & right, you need to use transmenuv.css NOT transmenuh.css and make all your settings there. go here for some more info

Hi Shannon,
tx 4 your answer, but the problem is that the Template JA Xenia only has a transmenuh.css. Does that mean that I have to download the Transmenue 2.0 as a standalone – install it, change the template and so on or is there a possibility in the config of JA Xenia to apply the already integrated transmenu to the vertical menu? I would rather prefer a solution to realize it with the options the template JA Xenia has, but need help, pls.

In the File “ja-transmenu.php” the option to choose between vertical and horizontel is commented, so it was there in the first place.

My problem described above, does not only concern the JA Xenia template but most of your latest templates, where the Main Navigation is mostly horizontal.
