October 5, 2006 at 1:10 am #117312Hello
I don’t understand several things about the new template JA_zibal. I hope you can help me because I got really frustrated with tuning this template.
1. How to style the modules? A default installation of the template (with no “module class sufix” defined) shows only plane modules. I found no information on how to define those “module sufixes” so I can get a module style that is shown in demo version of the template? For example I want menu items to be wrapped in a grey box image as in demo.
2. I don’t really understand whole thing with 3 types of menus. I followed the instructions in “read me” file and tried to set “$ja_menutype” in “ja_zibal/ index.php” to 1,2, and three. I unpublished the main menu as requested. But when I previewed my site I didn’t find my main menu, neither as a block menu, nor as a suckerfish menu. Only when I published my main menu again, it appeared, but with no effects.
3. Is there any way to change the background of the template? I tried to do it in template_css and in editor_content but with no result.
4. Is there any way to publish modules on the left and the right side at the same time?
Your answers will be very helpful to chose and stick to JA_zibal for my site.
Thank you very much….

October 5, 2006 at 4:37 am #210795#4 – you are going to have to copy the module. Check the box in the backend next to the module you wish to clone and hit the top right copy icon.
#3- /templates/ja_zibal/images/header-wrap1.gif & /templates/ja_zibal/images/spotlight-wrap1.gif & /templates/ja_zibal/images/pathway-wrap1.gif – for the pathway also /images/red/pathway-wrap1.gif then replace red with black, cyan and green
#2 – you will need to look into the index.php code and find what menus are being used for the respective menu types..
#1 – the grey blipped title bar module is using the class submenu, the colored blipped title is using moduletable, the no color title bar is ja-boxJackie_chan FriendJackie_chan

What do you mean by this? Do you mean that I need to define “module class sufix” as “submenu”, “moduletable” and ” ja-box” in order to get respective module styles? I have tried to write all these three sufixes, but non gave me a result. My modules remain as they were in first installation.
Please tell me in plain language- what should I write to “module class sufix” to style the modules?

I don’t mean to copy my existing modules to the left side, but to place some modules to the right and some to the left. Is it ever possible in this template?
thanks
