I’m very new to joomla so i signed up here for some help… I downloaded the ZinC layout and downloaded it but i have no idea what to do next if someone could help me with my site it would be appreciated.

It seems you just installed the template over your site. To replicate and to understand the settings of each module or template. It is strongly suggested to install the Quickstart onto your localhost and using that as reference, it would be easy for you to implement the same on your site.
I assume, you are new to Joomlart. Please check some of the help topics below :
