    Hi –

I am trying to use the K2 component that is supposed to be included in the JA Zite template, but it appears to not have been installed with the template or any of the included components, modules, or plug-ins. The Acymailing component was also not installed. Both were included in the demo and the Quickstart files.

I tried manually uploading all of the related folders, etc. from the Quickstart, and ran the PHP script to create the MySQL tables for K2, but it is still not appearing in the admin backend. I was not able to run the k2.install.php script from the install area of the admin backend.

I moved over to this template from the JA Elastica template in order to use K2 and still have a responsive template. I have already started adding other components and content, so would like to avoid having to start over again.

    Could you help me?

    Thanks,

    Pam

    Hi bassgrrl,

JA Zite template supports K2, Acymailing and some other JA Extensions (JA Slideshow, twitter, bulletin …). If you install quickstart package, you will have all extensions installed and configured as our demo. If you install manually, you need to download all elements in the download package: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=20451 then install them one by one.
For Acymailing and K2 component, please download them from their site then install. After installing, you can use our document to configure the extensions as they are configured in demo.
