March 31, 2010 at 8:54 pm #150022I switched the images that came with the ja_sulfur quick start for the JA_CATSLWI module and saved the articles. On the full article you can see the new image – but the new image does not show up on the home page. Is there somewhere else you have to change the images for the home page?
Thanks

April 1, 2010 at 9:10 am #338734Dear Janice!
May be this is from the cache pls access the configuration of the module and try to turn off this cache option in the advanced paramters
If possible, pls give me the link to your site.
Thanks

April 1, 2010 at 11:24 pm #338825i had the same problem. For some reason it sometimes takes some time before it refreshes.
I tried clearing the cache but it did not solve it. I had to go under the images/media folder and delete the original images one by one, especially the folder that says “resized” or something like that.
Or other time I just waited and eventually the right image came up.

May 11, 2010 at 12:18 pm #343236The default caching time for this module is 30 seconds I believe. If you change caching to “Don’t cache”, it will update every time you refresh the page.
October 25, 2010 at 8:49 pm #360520I keep dealing with the same issue. It seems to be only on this template and not the other templates I’m dealing with. I have deleted the old images on the server and replaced them with other images. The old ones keep showing up. I cleared my local cache and joomla system cache. Neither approach worked. I also tried visiting the site from different computers and there is no change. I modified the global preferences for articles also, so that the author and post date will not show up, and it’s still there. I think this template has another cache problem going on that can not be corrected in the back end. It might have to be corrected by modifying the code.

The solution is gave by rbaxaih , it wil resolve this issue, the cache of module is not controlled by joomla cache, so you use the clear cache function, it will not clear cache of the module :), you try need to disable the cache of module.
