March 11, 2009 at 8:14 am #295396@dumindard – Any ideas on a image or video gallery component that works with well with these templates? I know what you mean about the gap…any ideas on a fix…what do you mean by the text should change…Change the style of the nav text? Thanks for you input mate 🙂
@jsliao – Thanks for your feedback….by tool tip you mean the “Alt Text”? I should change that to something more SEO friendly…thanks for the heads up mate. 🙂

March 11, 2009 at 9:40 am #295410Hi harper1
Awesome site, especially for your first Joomla site, many congratulations, you must be well pleased 🙂
My only comment for improvement, would be the appearance of Bill’s e-mail addy here:
Personally, I would have used the ‘Contacts’ component and added three contacts to the contact form you currently have (General Enquiries, Bill Wakefield, Thomas Jithin) then just change the current e-mail addy under Bill’s image to the word ‘contact’ which could then link directly to Bill’s (and Thomas to Thomas’s) contact page?
No worries if you don’t, I was only nitpicking! 🙂
Great site, congratulations again.
Chris

Looks crisp and professional but I can’t help feeling it’s lacking something?
There is far too much white space and just whiteness, maybe what I’m saying is some sort of colour to the main body div as a background? even a light sand colour? just to break it up?
On the programs page where you have some chunky text links leading to articles, why not have the article styles they link to on one page. Breaks the look into something nice and ordered – see attached screenshots
BTW. I lived at Nerang for 14 yrs till 2003 and know Ted Sheppard and most of the counselors and local identities

Hi ShannonN,
Thanks for the advice – what do you think of the colour on there now? Also, any ideas on how to close the gap between the top nav bar and the content below?Nice to chat with a fellow local….even if you don’t live here any more:)
