Thanks for the advice – what do you think of the colour on there now? Also, any ideas on how to close the gap between the top nav bar and the content below?

I like it, depending on your own taste and clients, you could lighten the colour a bit and compare the two,but to me it’s not so stark and sterile may be the word I’m looking for?
The nav bar? I’d not change the position, as that is calculated to allow dropdowns for child menus if you drop the about us you’ll see it fits perect for a 2 child menu?
If the last items in the other menus covering teh slideshow etc, Hmmn it is so temporary is it worth the trouble?
