This has been a very frustrating process for what should be relatively simple.

I have installed the JA_Events_ii template and the T3 pluggin. I have set the JA_Events_ii template as default but it does not appear on the site. Instead it says T3 Framework at the bottom and doesn’t look like the template that I paid for. I have no desire to reinstall Joomla from scratch. It shouldn’t be necessary.

How do I get the JA_Events_ii template to work and is there a quick start tutorial for the basics of the template and system?

If you installing template and T3 plugin on an existing Joomla site you to create each menu/Module on site with help of the documentation to make same like in demo.

If you want to install the sample data of the demo site you can install the quickstart package with sample data.
Follow this documentation.
