I joined Joomlart prematurely thinking my site was going to be completed several months ago. After many unfortunate delays, the new site is now completed and we are getting ready to launch!

I am excitedly using several Joomlart components. However…

The JA_Halite is the template we are in love with and want to use is having an issue. It was working GREAT until we added “JSubscription” – Now the site shows up blank and pages will not appear. Just a white screen.

My developer was able to reinstall the template and get it to load, but certain pages like Jomsocial and FAQ’s we showing up BLANK as well. Then he reinstalled it again and the entire site showed up blank again.

We are VERY close to launching and now this template is setback. We developed many new features for this template and REALLY WANT TO USE it because it the best template here yet!!

What is the problem with this template and JSubscription workling together? Is there something that can be done?

Is there a fix so ALL pages show up like they previously did? Has anyone heard of this issue?

Thanks so much for your help! We are in a time crunch, so I need to get this corrected as soon as possible. (But REALLY want to use this template.)

    Thanks so much!!

Hi, I’m thinking, planning to use Jomsocial with the JA Halite template, can you please advise how you got on? Did you resolve your issues?

Not surprised that you didn’t get much support around here (just my own personal experiance in dealing with Joomlart).

Hello. This was NEVER resolved. I wish!

I paid, out of my OWN pocket, hundreds and hundreds of dollars to people (from Joomlancers) to find a solution and correct the issue. They could not. MULTIPLE people – even posters here (I will not name names) could NOT get this template to work with JSubscription and Jomsocial. They said it was impossible.

I WISH it would just work with the above items.

I am STILL going back and forth with the people from this site. I was forced to rejoin to even post here to ask questions about the problem template, Halite. (Which is an awesome template if it worked with the the aforementioned components.)

As you know, if you are NOT a paid up member, even if you WERE, if your subscription expires and you discover problems with a template like I did, you CANNOT post questions under important categories unless you repay… which make no sense.

I have, repeatedly asked for a refund, back and forth, back and forth to no avail for months now and I am continually denied the refund request even though the template does NOT work.

    This website states the following:

“7 days No Question Asked Refund on All…

    Dear Members,
Step towards in reaffirming our commitment to the Quality and Support, We proudly announce flat 7 days No Questions Asked Refund Policy on all JA products and Services including Enterprise Extensions. So if you are interested in trying out any JA product, feel free to buy it out and if not happy, ask for refund.”

In my case, this is NOT being honored. They want me to now, after the site is almost completely developed, give them access to play with it and reinstall certain sections like Jsubscription and Jomsocial.

MY DEVELOPER would quit if I let that happened. He’d have my head on a stick if I let people play with it! He’d kill me.

And no, I am NOT trying to be a complainer or a jerk. Joomlart is great! Which is why I have refrained from posting my “real” complaints here, instead emailing people privately.

Bottom line, I like the templates here. This is a great site.

They should honor what they advertise, which is WHY I signed up in the first place – TWICE infact – yes, TWICE. I trusted their own “guarantee.” It was too good to be true… an dthe template still does not work.

I am bummed.:( I really liked this site… a lot!

Hi and thanks for the reply – much appreciated.
Yup, shame about the support around here – real shame.

If possible can you please advise what the systems or faults where with running Hallite with JSubscription and Jomsocial?

Did changing to another template fix the issue?

Did you try another subscription pluggin for JomSocial?

    Is your site live?

    Cheers

    Mark
