Hi Thewiper, are you sure that the code is the same. check my second statement. In your coding you are using the $smallmaxchar variable. I’m using for the second occurence also the $bigmaxchar variable.
I think that’s a difference or what do you mean?

$bigmaxchar is the variable that stores the maximum number of chars for “on focus” featured article(s).$smallmaxchar stores the maximum number of chars for headline articles that is not featured. Currently big at 8000 and small at 4000 and I’m sure that the lenght of the article is less than 200. By the way i’m using this code: http://www.juststored.com/code/F0D9VF.

Hmm… sorry: i forgot! I’m using Joomla 1.5.

Solved! The images are not shown when there’s some trash html code at the end of text. I used a lot of editors and I think a lot of <br class=”moz”> was inserted at the end. By the way I’ll take a deeper look on the helper to see if this could be consider as bug or not!
