Hey!

How can I get scandic alphabetics to my ja_newsflash scroller? It is showing textes okay, but when I’m putting ä,ö,å to the title, it is showing only ?-marks in it..?

Any helps?

I´ve the same problem with ja_newsflash using mageia. Words with ä, ö, ü, in the title are showan as <?>.
Tried to replace the titles with htmlcode litke this: Ö
but it doesn´t work :((

.. does anyone know how to fix it?

In /modules/ja_news ther is file headlineloader.php

Put this string on FIRST LINE (no space form begingi)
<? header(“Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8”); ?>

This works if you already use UTF8
