Hi,
I have a bilingual site, running Joomla 1.5.7 and the latest joomfish. All is well, and the translating works fine. When I shange the language ( I am using English and Thai) it does change to Thai. But the next newsflash that scrolls in is in English while the rest of the site is still in Thai.

Is there a way to have all the newsflashes continue in Thai once the language changes, and not go back to the original language once the scrolling starts again?

Any help would be very much appreciated.:)

Hello,

Usually i just have to search this excellent forum to find the right answer to my question but i also meet a problem with the use of ja_newsflash in a bilingual website (made with Iolite template) and didn’t found any resource to fix this issue.

The mother tongue of the site is French. Joomfish is used to translate french articles in English.
When i select the English version, everything’s fine but in the Ja_Newsflash Module, translations are not displayed although they are published in Joomfish.
I only get a translated article when i refresh the page but the following articles still come in French. I tried with and without translating the module itself in Joomfish but no result.

I’d like to keep the url private. Would someone know what to check to solve this ? May i send the url in a private mail to a joomlart moderator in order to get his expertise ?

P.S. Just want to say i finally found a solution with a ja_newsflash-like extension available on joomla.org. If i can help, do not hesitate to PM me !
