September 4, 2008 at 12:50 am #132927JA_newslight is not working properly.
When I click over a menu that is a section list layout, and then when I click on the title inside ja_newslight, I get error 404.
If I click over a menu that is a category list layout or article layout the module works ok.
Also, when I click over my logo, and then click on title inside ja_newslight I get 500 error. It doesn’t happen if I click over Home, in my menu.
Anybody has any ideas of what may be causing this ?
Thanks in advance.hbf1000 Friendhbf1000

it might be a good idea to share the url in this thread as others will be able to help (of course along with the help of MiCCAS).

September 8, 2008 at 9:30 am #269454The URL: http://www.liguebarato.com.br
The module (ja_newslight) is on the left position of the template (JA Hedera).
It is called “Tudo sobre portabilidade”. It has 4 articles inside:
– “A portabilidade será gratuita”
– “A portabilidade vai começar na data planejada”
– “Será que a portabilidade será adiada”
– “Operadoras pedem adiamento da portabilidade”Try navigating throught the main menu (Home, Pesquisa de Preços, Promoções, etc) and then clicking on this articles inside the module.
I tried this in IE and FF, in 3 different computers, and the problem is there.

September 18, 2008 at 1:12 pm #271157No, the problem is still there, after activating mod_rewrite. I am starting to think that this module does not work at all. Please help.

September 18, 2008 at 2:09 pm #271167Sorry, I installed another module from another supplier and it worked straight out of the box. You can close this thread. I will not use ja_news module no more.

September 18, 2008 at 2:22 pm #271171Hi Guys,
This problem I belive is happining throughout the Joomla Community. I think the 404 problem and “page not found using back button has something to do with IE and newer Joomla upgrades 1.5.6 and possibly 1.5.7? Anyhow, I read somewhere on other forums and on other sites using different templates experiancing the same problems.I actually have the problem myself after upgrading to Joomla 1.5.6 and using IE7. I’m going to the Joomla Org forum to see if anyone else is having problems with Joomla 1.5.6 and 1.5.7 and IE.
Did anyone else notice it happening out there?
