Hello, I have the same question/issue that is already posted more then once on this forum. but there is still no solution (anyway, not posted)
JA_Newslight shows on every page when you click a link from an item on the frontpage.
There is posted a solution for Joomla 1.0 but not for 1.5.x.
On my site, http://seshata.nl.mol4.nl, I have this issue. When clicking on a link the frontpage items from JA_Newslight are still on the page and when I change the url in the browser from …&Itemid=1 to …&Itemid=0 the JA_Newslight doesn’t show.
But I don’t know how to fix this.
Any suggestions?

I’m a little confused…as I’m not seeing JA_Newslight showing up on every page…just the front page.

Are you meaning you are seeing the ContentHeading show up double when you click on an item?
Once as the heading…and once as the title? If that’s the case, just turn off which ever you don’t want to see the contentheading or the title in your parameters.

Hello John,

the first time clicking a “read more” link on the frontpage goes right.
When you click ‘Home’ after doing this and then click again on a ‘read more’ link, you can see what I mean.

Here is the answer of JoomlArt:
root cause of problem is :
– link of Articles of ja_newslight always get itemid of Home page when you haven’t create menu link to section what stores that articles.
– if you have created menu to point to that section , all articles display in ja newslight will get itemid o that menu.

to fix the problem , please create a menu link to that section, what you have selected in admin panel of ja newslight.
