Dear all maestro at Joomlart,

We are staff at a non-profit organization and we are very happy with this incredible template. We have a question to you all: how to make “All Category” on Megamenu unclickable, but the sub-menus do? (all sub-menus clickable, only menu All Category not).

From Menu Manager, We’ve changed the Menu Type to External URL then put “#” as its URL, it works, but then the modules JA Newsticker, JA News Featured and JA Side News will not work properly. When you click titles on those modules, you will not get the articles you want to read, but still at Home/Frontpage.

We’ve been looking around the forum for this issue, but we have not found an answer. Please help.

Notes: in our case we have changed All Category menu title to “News” (alias remains: all-category). We are using Joomla 2.5 + Ja_Nex

Hello dormicum,

You need to create a “Text Separator” menu type for this purpose.

And there is another problem for links of JA News Featured module. Please look at this link “/index.php/102-all-category/politics/269-indonesia-to-build-on-bridges-of-civilization-yudhoyono”. You don’t create “Politics” sub-menu item in “News” menu, so the link showed “102-all-category” in it. It isn’t correct. The other has sub-menu item and it’s correct, like this link “/index.php/all-category/business/259-welcoming-ceremony-at-buckingham-palace”.
