Hi!
I´ve migrated from Joomla 1.0 to 1.5 and are using enclosed template JA_Purity.
The right column is not wide enought and there´s space left at the both sides.
How can I adjust this!
Thank You
Bassman
http://rattvisdemokrati.se/March 1, 2009 at 7:45 pm #294076in administrative panel :
go to
Extension >Template managerClick on radio button in front of Ja_Purity, click Edit icon
on right panel you have Parameters, find template width and choose option wider or insert number of pixels of desired width.
Click on Save buttonMarch 1, 2009 at 7:55 pm #294077Hi Istankov!
Thanks for you answer.
Is that as easy? I have read a lot about edit size here and there.
The funny thing is that I´m using the same template for another homepage and it´s the right size.
I will try to change the option wider.
Thank you
BassmanMarch 1, 2009 at 8:01 pm #294078just that easy
second option has the same start, then find Edit CSS button and choose > template.css
somewhere at 4-6 line at the begining of the code you will find
body {
width: 990px;
font-family:Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
line-height: 140%;
}Add red line, and specify your with in pixels.
but, after all, I don’t see why you will need your site wider
March 1, 2009 at 8:15 pm #294079Hi again!
I compare with my other homepage where the mainbody is larger and the columns are close to the sides and everything will have space enough.
Now I´m copying the JA_Purity from the side with “right size” to the other.
Then I will check the width.
Thanks!Noop, Now I have copied the one to another without result.
Then I added the redline
width: 990px; in red and the page moved to the right and hasstill the same size as before with a lot of space to the right.. But the right column is still too narrow.March 1, 2009 at 8:42 pm #294081Oh I see, you will have to find left + right column definitions further in the css, but those was solved in other treads in Ja_purity forum
