Dear all –
I’m trying to make the VM shopping cart work using the Purity template. At Step Two (selecting shipping method) there seems to be a problem: the shipping methods are not displayed.
There is some buzz about this problem in VM forums, and someone mentioned that the shopping cart/shipping module is too wide, which is why it is not displayed. They suggested increasing the template width.
Purity allows setting the width via the template GUI, which is what I have tried – but no matter what settings I select the shipping method is not displayed.
If someone has already been thru a similar situation and has found a solution, please share.
Thanx in advance!

Does it work with default Joomla! template?February 5, 2010 at 8:14 am #331644moreover: it dies not work in ANY template in that installation – but it works fine in the same template in another installation. Go figure what is wrong.
I guess I will just give up and redo the whole site (it’s small and there are only three products).

If you mean the ones supplied with J1.5.15 – Beez and Milky Way – tried them, still no go.
What does it mean?

No, I mean Virtuemart own template, not Joomla template.
The template is located in your_root/components/com_virtuemart/themesYou haven’t specified virtuemart version, joomla version, but my guess is that this has to with virtuemart template, as I tested JA Purity II with default Virtuemart installation and I had no problems at all.
February 5, 2010 at 11:01 am #331675Not sure I know how to go about it. Can you briefly walk me thru it – do I select it in the VM GUI? I think I selected vm_ – this did not change things. Is it a template that can be installed like a regular Joomla template?
