I installed the ja_quillaja quickstart joomla portal. However in wanting to test other templates (not created by Joomla art), I noticed that the other templates work but the ja-news does not show on the frontpage. In addition my news items do not show either. I suspect it could do with module positions. Can you please provide advice on how to solve this?
Why would I want to use other templates? Well perhaps it’s because I am unable to find a way to get the left menu of ja_quillaja to move to the actual left and have the content in the middle. Therefore I would like to try other templates that do have the standard 3 column layout with ja-news in the middle.
The best way to replicate is to install ja_quillaja quickstart (ensure you have some content in the database), then switch to another template (not made by joomlart) to see that your news items do not appear.
Any advice?
