Strange behaviour fo Ja_slideshow on Ja_sanidine II. It’s better to act than explain.
Try the following:

1. go to web site: http://www.giochifantastici.com
2. You will see that slideshow does not animate (I tried with firefox, IE and chrome).
3. Try to search any word (top right)
4. in the search result page (that has the same home modules active!) slideshow is animated.

Any clue?

It’s not the first time I have problemx with animation/ajax on my site (for example I’m not able to activate ja-tabs… but it’s another problem, let’s solve one by one)

Ok, I spent some time looking the page flush and I found out that JA_Slideshow is not compatible with JDownloads content plugin.

I don’t know how to patch it, I only removed JDownloads… if anybody has ideas and/or time to investigate is welcomed.
