I’m using ja_slideshow on a Joomla 1.5 site but I cannot get the slideshow to display on pages that are linked to from submenu items.

I’ve set the slideshow modules (i’ve made several copies of it) to display in the newsflash area within the site header. It’s seems to display OK for top level mainmenu items, but not for sub-menu items (i.e. children of mainmenu). Is this a limitation of the module?

The dev site is at http://dev.villasnraffaello.com

I’d really appreciate some help here.

    Hello everyone,

I am very new at this so please bare with me. I am trying to make a gaming template using JA Sanidine II and I have been messing around a little bit with it but for the life of me I can not figure out why I can not put the JA Slideshow just like the one on their demo.

    Here is my link http://sacramentosfinest.org/

Here is the demo link http://template15.joomlart.com/ja_sanidine_ii/#

I so want to make it look just like that and can not figure it out. PLEASE can somebody help me? I would even give you my number to walk me through it if needed. I even took the day off work to try to figure this out.

PLEASE reply as fast as you can…..in desperate need. I want to get my site up and running.

    Thank you in advance.

No offence intended Mr Fantastic, but maybe you should start a new thread as, although it relates to ja_slideshow, mine is quite a specific issue I’m having problems with.

Your’s appears to be more general help required with configuring ja_slideshow, although you appear to have got it up and running OK now. Looks like the ja_sanidine demo also has a latest news module running in the header, alongside the slideshhow, whereas yours is full width of header. Is that intended?

I put it like that because I could not figure it out. So I did the best I could with it since I am very new at this.
