    I have gotten it all to work as it should except that I do not have the shaded background behind the description text which makes the text very hard to read.

    How can I enable the background shade and what css do I need to change for the H3 and description text used in Slideshow?

    Kind Regards,

    Tony

    This happens in FF3 – ie7 does show the shaded background BUT I also see the issue with the shading not covering the entire bottom text area in IE as reported by Freefall in http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/jaslideshow-transparent-background-problem-on-demo-site/.

    This is the J1.5 version

    I changed the css width from 83% to 80% and now in appears in FF3 – still show the strange missing trans-bg in ie7 though!

    ja.slideshow.css (in /templates/ja_rutile/css/)

    .ja-slideshowdesc {
    position: absolute;
    bottom: 0;
    right: 10px;
    z-index: 10;
    width: 80%;
    background: url(../images/trans-bg.png);
    padding: 10px 0;
    color: #FFFFFF;

    play with the width % and it apparently fixes it.
