Hi there,

when I install template sulfur (current version which I downloaded today), I get an error, depending on module slideshow being activated (error) or not activated (rest works fine).

The error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /homepages/33/d66569047/htdocs/prod/modules/mod_jaslideshow2/helper.php on line 252

I tried to install current versions of:
– installation package incl. demo content
– joomla itself and adding template and module

This doesn´t affect the error, it still occurs.

If I install an older version of slideshow module, the error doesn´t appear, but no images are shown.

Please help me with this issue.

The problem may be from the old php version. Please check if your PHP version is not lower than 4.4. If yes, you should upgrade your php (contact your hosting provider). If not, please provide me your site access (admin + ftp) via PM, I’ll take a look and fix it.
