I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while now, but I simply can’t find the solution at the forums here or at the Jomsocial forum site. I just downloaded and installed the latest versions of JA_Sulfer and Jomsocial (through your site). As well as the joomsocial theme in your downloads area.

Problem: On the jomsocial part of the site, when displaying the latest members avatars, everything appears fine. However, when hovering over any avatar, instead of getting nicely formatted info displaying stats about the user, the tipbox displays tons and tons of html code.

The people over at jomsocial say it is a javascript conflict in your template that is causing the problem, and that I need to discuss the problem with you as they cannot diagnose each template.

    Help please,
    Andrew

EDIT: I’m getting these specific javascript errors from your template
    in
These both appear to be in script-1.2.js

    joms.jQuery.fn.qtip.timers is undefined

    Line 1052

    and also in script-1.2.js

    value.initialize is not a function

    Line 21

Thanks for the quick reply, but that didn’t seem to do it.

Again, I’m using all your software included with the bundled package. Aside from the joomla installation which I got from Joomla.com, I am using all your default templates along with joomsocial.

I’d love to post a solution to this, but I have still not heard a word from the support ticket submission, only a confirmation that my ticket was submitted.

I’m not a coder, and as far as I’m aware I’m not using mootool (I have no idea). Those steps may be useful, but I don’t know where to start nor do I really have the patience anymore to figure it out. At this point I’m sort of regretting going with joomlart before I had heard of rocket themes. The help here is pretty abysmal.

Any other suggestions? Or should I keep waiting for another unclear and ambiguous set of instructions? The part that confuses me most is that I’m using your template pack, and it does this by default, yet its been two weeks since I’ve submitted my support ticket without a response.

Thank you for your response, but the support here has much to be desired. I’ve decided to go with a template from a different company. On the same note, reading through your forums there are a ton of issues which never get responses, legitimate problems from knowledgeable customers that don’t get any attention. Seeing as I could download your template from any torrent site for free, what people here are paying for is support more than the code.

Thanks for your time, and keep up the good work.

    Hi!
I am confused becuase of your replies…. So what’s the result? we cant use Sulfur template for Jomsocial applications? I have same problem.. The applications work with jomsocial template. But they dont work with Sulfur template..
Why i have paid money for template if it doesnt work exactly with jomsocial?

@all The joomsocial has the jquery library, and the problem is there, that’s the conflicting JavaScript between : mootool library – jquery libary, if your site is using modules which needs jquery libs such as facebook module…, the template will have javascript conflict between mootool library – jquery libary and jquery versions

Jomsocial has also recommended about this issue: http://www.jomsocial.com/docs/Common_FBC_Issues, and you can search in google, you will see that many users are having same issue,

So that the best way, you give me the FTP account and Administrator account, I will try to fix the problem.
