At ja_t3_blank and Purity ii the Author can not edit his own pages. Edit icon does not appear when the author user logged in front-page.

Are there anyone having the same issue?

Yes, I’m having the exact same problem, in category list view and in single article view, the edit icon is missing.

Changing to a different template (e.g. beez5) solves the problem.
Also, changing the user from “Author” to “Editor” makes the edit icon appear in single article view, but not in category list view.

I’m running
– Joomla 1.6.1
– JA T3 Framework 1.2.0
– ja_t3_blank 1.0.2

I just upgraded to:

– JA T3 System plugin for Joomla 1.6: version 1.2.3
– JA T3 Blank template for joomla 1.6: version 1.0.3

But the problem still remains.

Having the same problem with no edit icon for autors, but there for editors.

Using JA T3 Sytem plugin for Joomla 1.6 version 1.2.3
JA T3 Purity ii template

As mentioned by other user if I swith to the Beez20 template the Autor edit icon are there.

Hello again,

After some waiting time, the bugtracker now shows that this issue is fixed in JATC T3V2 version 1.0.4.
But according to the download page at http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=361 version 1.0.3 is still the latest version of the “Blank” template.

Am I looking in the wrong place, or is 1.0.4 just waiting to be released?
