Hi waelali,
Have you updated the template and modules etc yet? It isn’t very productive to struggle with a beta version from 2010, you know. 🙂waelali Friendwaelali

February 28, 2012 at 9:25 pm #440700As said earlier, install Akeeba Backup – https://www.akeebabackup.com/
The do a backup of your site.
Do you have WAMP installed on your local machine? If so take that backup and with a couple of clicks using the kickstart.php file from the akeeba site you can have an exact copy of your live site running on your desktop.
On your desktop you can then use the JA Extension manager to update all of your plugins, components, modules and the template one by one safe in the knowledge that you will do no harm to your live site. If all goes well you can copy your now updated site to your live hosting.

I sent you a private message earlier today. Didn’t you get it?Go to Components >> JA Extension Manager >> Service >> Joomlart Updates >> Edit
and add your JoomlArt username and (if required) your JoomlArt password. Then click Check Update under each of the JA elements and take it from there. The procedure is pretty close to risk free and you won’t lose your customization. But it is of course prudent to make sure you have a backup; follow Phill’s advice.

February 28, 2012 at 10:53 pm #440729What about them? If you are goint to J2.5 then you would need to migrate and install new versions. If you are just upgrading to the latest release of J1.5 and all the JA extensions then they would not be a problem.

Don’t let them hinder your update of the template and JoomlArt modules and plugins. But you will need to download the newest 1.5 versions from their different creators and install them from your desktop. As long as you stay inside the scope of Joomla! 1.5 there isn’t much to fear from the update process.
Edit: Phill beat me to it 🙂

February 28, 2012 at 11:10 pm #440739Check the file permissions in your templates directory.
Oh, you are also going to need to update your Joomla install via ftp with this download – http://joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsrelease/16025/69668/Joomla_1.5.0_to_1.5.25-Stable-Patch_Package.zip
