I have updated the JA components but you will need to update Joomla itself manually because you have some PHP restrictions (PHP allow_url_fopen) on your server preventing the updater from operating. You may be able to get your host to set that. Otherwise you will need to download the Joomla 1.7.2 to J 2.5.1 update package, unzip it and ftp all the files from that package to your hosting overwriting the existing ones.

Just looked at your PHP settings page and your settings are way too high. PHP safe mode is soon going to be dropped for instance, no host should bother with that. There are quite a few other things as mentioned above that may hinder your site in the future.

Hi phill.

Don’t worryabout that. I know that the process will be long in time.

I will make a sql export and make it easily. I’m in a creation process and work inside 2.5 not will be long as I expected.
