I am on 1.5.10 using JA_Tube. I downloaded the latest version of JA_Highslide.
After installing the mod and plg, and as I open up the Highslide module to configure it, my administration screen starts malfunctioning and eventually, my Joomla site database gets corrupted and I can no longer get into the administration portion of the site.
I cleared the database, reinstalled Joomla, and reinstall the template. Everything works fine until I load up JA_Highslide and try to configure the module again.
This happened twice. Is there a compatibility problem between Highslide and/or JA_Tube, 1.5.10?
I can’t give you a link to the development site because once the database is corrupted, you can’t get in.
On the third try, I finally dumped the database just before loading/configuring Highslide so that I would have a good copy of the database. When the database went bad after configuring Highslide, I reloaded the database, uninstall Highslide and everything works okay.
Any clues?
