I’m not seeing JaTypo as available for the JaUniversity template. I tracked both plugins down under another template, and installed. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like it works (probably needs to be specific to JaUniversity). So, is there a place I can download the appropriate one?

    Thanks!

Well, I found the downlaod area for Ja_Typo. I guess I need to be a member of JA Extension Club. I just signed up. As far as I’m concerned, money spent on this website is a real bargain. You guys do amazing work!

Man – now I’m feeling jaded >:( The buttons I just paid for are exactly the same ones I had installed. Boo! I am trying to insert a “Message Box With Icon” (the confirmation box, as seen in the demo typography). It is nowhere to be seen on the plugin. What the heck?! Can someone from the Admin please help me out here?

    Hello earthson,

Can you PM me with your site information (your site URL, your site admin account) and your FTP account? So I can diagnose this problem.

BTW, please include this forum thread URL in your PM, so I can follow it.

    Regards.

    Hello,

I sent it a few days ago. Did you have a chance to have a look?

    Hello earthson,

JA Typo is a button located below editor when you create/edit an article. Please check my screenshot below.

Yes, I know that it is a button, and I’ve used it before on other sites. But, I don’t see some of the styles that appear in the JaUniversity template (ie the Confirmation Box style). Do you see that one in the list that pops up?

    Hello earthson,

JA University doesn’t use JA Typo plug-in. The “Typography” page in demo site is an article used styles in “/templates/ja_university/css/typo.css” file. You can open that file and apply its styles for your article.

Well that sucks. Why wouldn’t it work with Ja_University?? Many of the styles work, just not the one I’m looking for. It should be an easy fix for the developers.

So, back to my earlier post, I paid for something that I cannot use. when the system wouldn’t let me download Ja_Typo, I assumed I had to purchase the JaExtensions add-on. So, I paid for it, and then was allowed to download. I guess I’m going to have to ask for a refund.

    Hi earthson,

I just checked the whole thread, I do not think you need to buy JAEC for JA Typo, you can download JA Typo plugin from other template folder, it is just not released with JA university, but i am sure is available for other templates. such as JA Vintas, JA Ironis etc…

http://update.joomlart.com/#products.list//JA%20Typo%20Plugin%20for%20J25%20&%20J30/ << you can see the templates the product is released with.

I am asking the team to refund your JAEC membership right now.

Regarding JA Typo support for JA University, well it is not tested with it, thats the reason its not released in the download folder of JA University. Still , if you can get me screenshot of the typo style JA unviersity is not supporting but is present in the JA Typo plugin, i will get someone to have a look and help you out.

In the end, this thread could have been handled better by the support team.

    Regards

    Hello,

Thanks for your assistance. Here is the screenshot. I would like to use the conformation, warning, download box, etc. They are not present in the ja_typo plugin. if you could just give me the code I need to use, or point me to where I could find that info myself, I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks 🙂

    Hi earthson,

I have upgraded script so that Typography of JA University Template works via JA Typo plugin. You can see it here.

Please check it on your site again. Let me know if it helps you.
