Hi Guys, great community and great work.

I have a problem with the quickstart, (file ja_zinc_for_joomla_1-1.5.v1.0.zip, md5: 273693b831b8d0aaba8711326f8c74f1), where once installed the index.php pages load up blank. the /administrator is just like normal.
I have downloaded the file twice, where the latest zip had the above md5. I am running this on my localhost, and this has always worked 100%
I made zero modification; my joomla version and phpinfo.php are below.

the 1.0 version works very well, I turned debug system on and it works fine.

I haven’t seen anything like this….

Anyone have the same thing, or can you help work this out. I can supply any diagnostic.

using WampServer Version 2.0

update :

Install joomla 1.5.8 then install the template also did not work. receive the following error,

” * There was an error uploading this file to the server.”

On my webserver, I am getting the home page load up ok, but once I log into the /administrator page i get error 500…
no idea, and I’ve done this plenty of times.

oh….i deleted everything and started from scratch again, i used the quickstart file and everything seems to be working fine (for now) :laugh:

now time for some work~!

Someone with mesolite had a similiar issue and it turned out they had to add :

ini_set(‘memory_limit’, ’20M’);

To the configuration.php file

i have the same pb, I have downloaded the file 4 times, i tried other quickstart theme and they worked well

i’m in joomla version 1.5.9
