    Hi
I am using the Ja ACM Teams module style 4. However, I need to add emails of the members instead of one of the social links buttons.

Currently, the module cannot recognise the email links and I’m getting a spambots message on the front-end.

Would appreciate, if anyone could help me out here…

    Thanks!
    Pranav

    Hi @tekdinet,

Please check if you’re using correct HTML code :

    Wrong
    e-mail:<a href="info@website.com">info@website.com</a>

    Correct
    e-mail:<a href="mailto:info@website.com">info@website.com</a>

Clear your Joomla! cache and recheck.

    Hi,
I tried using the code you provided with no results. While I’m not getting the spambots message anymore, neither am getting any link on the button.
This is the code I used.

    <a href="mailto:info@website.org">info@website.org</a>

    Regards
    Pranav

    Hi Pranav,

Could you please provide a temporary back-end account so I can take a closer look and investigate the problem ?

    Hi @tekdinet,

Thanks for the info. Please navigate to back-end >>> Extensions >>> Plugin Manager >>> disable Content – Email Cloaking and recheck.

    Hi Adam,
Disabling the Email Cloaking plugin does solve the problem, however, if I do this won’t I loose my spam protection?

    Hi Pranav,

To prevent email cloaking on specific page without disable the plugin entirely, In your custom code, before I echo out the email, just add this code:

    {emailcloak=off}
