February 2, 2018 at 12:34 pm #1089842Dear Sir
What is the process to have an open and a closed part of the site (login protection)?
I can’t find any access restriction on the page?

February 5, 2018 at 4:14 am #1090037Hi,
I’m not entirely sure of your question here, any sample of ‘open and closer part of site’ that you’re mentioning?

February 5, 2018 at 4:01 pm #1090165My current but not elegant solution was changing the menu restrictions
But this gives a problem with no menu item visiable.
So I created a custom link from a footer to the logged menu item
This prompts a login request.
It would be elegant to control access permissions from the fronpage when editing the page.Saguaros ModeratorSaguaros

February 6, 2018 at 6:39 am #1090267Hi,
At this moment, only Super Users can edit the page, users from other groups don’t have this edit permission.

February 13, 2018 at 12:12 pm #1091691It’s not about editing a page.
It’s about the menu, and the menu bar in the top.
There is no way of createing a page, then only show is to people that are logged in.
I have to manually change the restrictions in the menu -> menu item to "registered" from guest.
Ok, that works.
But How do I create a menu item that is visiable, for people not logged in?
IF that item was there, a person could click on the item, when, be promped for a login, then see the page….
‘

February 21, 2018 at 4:14 am #1092838Hi,
When you create a menu item, kindly check the ‘Access’ option, by default, it will be set to ‘Public’ and everyone can see.
For any other item, you can set to associated access level. For example, if you set to ‘Registered’, only users who registered on your site can see after logging in.
Regards
