April 23, 2012 at 12:43 pm #176403The bulletins on the frontpage are not displaying the most recent articles. Site:
http://www.europanabahia.com.br/~joomla25
See the bulletin ‘BBC Brasil’. The respective bulletin module is configured to display the recent added article first. Nevertheless older articles are displayed on the frontpage.

April 23, 2012 at 4:56 pm #449807As i see JA Bulletin module in the mega menu item “2 BBC Brasil” is displaying the items in order.
If you are wondering about the JA News pro module on the front end, then you need to set the ordering correctly.

you will need to set the same for all the JA News Pro modules (default, linear, pulse and mobile).
If this is not what you are looking for, please provide the screenshot of the module which is not ordering as per the date.

April 23, 2012 at 5:21 pm #449813Glad it worked. JA Teline series of templates are the complex one’s and new users are easily confused. We strongly recommend to install teline quickstart on localhost and compare for settings.
Do show us your site once it is completed, you can add the same to our Showcase and SOTM forum.
Best of luck.
Arvind

April 23, 2012 at 5:40 pm #449815Dear Arvind,
I am not exactly a “new user”. I am using the TelineIV template since August 2011 (with Joomla 1.5, 1.6, 1.7 and now 2.5), always using the quickstart file. The problem is that the quickstart file is not reliable! Last year I found menu items connected to wrong categories. Another example is the problem discussed in this thread. Why does the quickstart file come with a wrong article order? All around the world the most recent article is displayed first. The problem, in my opinion, is that the template was not tested under real world conditions. Instead of throwing articles in Latin into the demo site somebody should install Feedgator and check the incoming articles. Only a suggestion …

April 23, 2012 at 5:55 pm #449819Have passed the info to the test team. Can you elaborate more on the wrong menu item links? is the problem still present in the Teline IV quickstart?

April 23, 2012 at 6:26 pm #449822Dear Arvind,
Please read subcategory instead of category. I am not absolutely sure but I think this time I had only one issue. But as I already changed the subcategory titles I am unable to give you the name. I think it happended in the first bulletin (former Sports?). The second or third subcategory.
