Could you update the login info of your site and tell me the keyword to search and Joomla article you’re mentioning so I can check?

October 3, 2016 at 2:05 am #972839Hi Laurent,
I just checked and saw that this module use static content and I’m afraid that search module can’t display these. There are 2 ways for search module can find these content in a module:
- Each item in module is an article because, normally, this search module will retrieve from com_content.
- Customise the search extension so it can seek for these content.

October 3, 2016 at 9:15 am #972981hello,
I cannot customize search extension, this is the default smart search provided by joomla.
I don’t understand your first point : "Each item in module is an article because, normally, this search module will retrieve from com_content."
Today, JACM modume content (with TEAMS layout) is not an article…and it’s not possible to do that no?
See attached file.

October 4, 2016 at 4:09 am #973226Basically, JA ACM is just custom HTML module with some advanced option provided for the template it goes with. The search module of Joomla will not index the static content inside custom html module like this. You can try with a default custom HTML module to see this.

October 4, 2016 at 7:22 am #973288No, I meant you can test with custom html to see that the search module doesn’t display content from there. It will not have same design like ACM module.

October 4, 2016 at 8:30 am #973314Ok I see.
Even if I add a custom html module with an article (which display text) included inside, the content will be indexed or not?

October 5, 2016 at 1:13 pm #973767ok so If I use smart search feature, it’s stupid to display content with an article included into a module because article content will not be indexed right ?

October 6, 2016 at 2:51 am #973958Please check my 2nd reply, the discussion is back to that point:
- The module will search the content (com_content, …)
- Content in custom html module can’t be searched.
- It can be done if you customize the search module.
I do hope this makes senses.
