April 7, 2011 at 10:11 am #162481Hello,
on a demo 1.6 it is jaComment included. But I can not set it working? Acctually I can not find a plugin or component in template. I use quickstart to set a site. But even on same pages on my demo content is no comments possible, an on JA demo is seen comments.thanks.

April 7, 2011 at 10:37 am #385277Hi,
JA Comment is NOT included in the Quickstart. If you have purchased a JA Extensiosn membership, then you can download it. If you only have a membership for Templates, then, I am afraid you will not be able to download JA Comment. See the details here.
If I am wrong, someone who knows more could rectify me.

April 7, 2011 at 10:59 am #385280Hi,
is not exactly so, but close. I don’t know who developed JA Comments but it is said so:

All extensions used in the Demo Site are available for download along with the template and are also part of the Quickstart Package. No additional fee is required. However, Commercial Extensions, which may be from our own Extension Club (JAEC) or from 3rd party developers (jomSocial, Agora Forum etc…) are not provided for download and member will need to purchase the same on his / her level.
thus probably ja comments are not form joomlart.
or I’m wrong?iguinee Friendiguinee

JA Comment is part of the JA Extensions Club. See it here: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/contacts-and-feedback/articles-comments/12078

If so, it should be included in quickstart. If I’m not wrong.

Yes, JA Comment is the Joomlart Comment extension, and according to the installation instructions, if you download quickstart, the Comments extension should be included. But it IS NOT. I installed Joomla1.7 quickstart, and both K2 and the comments extension were not included. (Not sure if K2 is meant to be included or not). I have been able to download the comments extension from the JA Extensions Club because I have JATC template club membership. -
