I hesitate to buy jacomment, because im not sure how fast will update to 1.8.
When the 1.8 will released how much time have to wait for jacomment’s update?

Hi sade,

I can assure you that JA dev team is working hard and fast enough! Since J1.8 is not out there yet it’s hard to tell how much time it will take to upgrade JA Comments among with other JA products but if you have been following the work flow from JA you can see that JA is quite fast on upgrades!

as i wrote i know it will be released just next year, but if i buy the jacomment and install, the upgrading to 1.8 will depend the jacomment’s upgrade (since my site is quite simple, with only very few third party modul)

As long as you have a valid subscription with JA you can get all upgrades.

So the answer to your question is Yes you will be able to upgrade your site to 1,8 ( maybe we should say 2.5 since i don’t think they will release 1.8 or probably the name will be 2.5 instead of 1.8)
