My “jaextmanager_data” folder permission found to be 777, Is this Ok, or I’ve to change it to 755

Also my Configuration.php file permission found to be 444, and working well, is there a need to chnage it to 644

Finally when i make find updates function to update my joomla to the 2.5 version, i recieved this error :

Update: :Collection: Could not open http://update.joomlart.com/service/tracking/list.xml /update.xml

is this normal or i’ve to take certain procedure.
