I am using JA Rave: The jaextmanager_data permission was set at 777 at install. Permissions 666 and 777 are considered insecure on my server and Was told that “You should not do this on our servers, since we have SuExec installed” and was suggested to use the default permissions setting at 775.

Since you are the creators of the template – do you see any issue here or problems that might occur?

Using a Linux based Apache server

hi jonesmark,

You can change the cmod value for jaextmanager_data to 0755 manually,I think it should help !
