    If you ope up the file mod_janews_fp.php on line 7, do you have this line here:

    JHTML::stylesheet('',modJANewsHelper::getFile('ja.news.fp.css','modules/mod_janews_fp/ja.news/','templates/'.$mainframe->getTemplate().'/css/'));

    Been busy… been using old ja_news..
    but yes, I have that line of code.

    mainframe =& JFactory::getApplication(‘site’);
    JHTML::stylesheet(”,modJANewsHelper::getFile(‘ja.news.fp.css’,’modules/mod_janews_fp/ja.news/’,’templates/’.$mainframe->getTemplate().’/css/’));

    It still does it…

    HI myronlee

    What happens if you disable the old JA News? What is in the old JA News that you like over teh one for Teline II?

    I looked at your site. It does not look like you have much content yet.

    While you are waiting for this problem, why not consider this.

    Upload a Joomla-Teline QuickStart Kit forlder, then rename it as as a subdirectory, and do a quickinstall. See if you get the Demo (you should), there are a few links for detailed procedures here, including that of Hung and Menalto.

    If you can reproduce the Demo, and it is what you want, there is an extension that allows you to transfer articles, by categories, sections. Supposedly you can then use that to move the contents to your new site by categories or section.

    Hi myronlee,

    If you have it in a separate directory with its own database, etc. the two sites would be entirely independent from each other. You will get a chance also to see if you have choices, what it is your really want.

    That is risky myronlee,

    For some reason, some people found that the “stand alone” Teline II tempate has some bugs. I never used it. I used the Joomla 1.0x-JA Teline II mostly but also tried the Joomla 1.5x-JA Teline II, most prefer Joomla 15x-JA Teline II. Right now, I prefer Joomla 1.0x-JA Teline II.

    If you decide to use Joomla 1.5x-JA Teline II; there are quite a few bugs there, two critical ones, or precautions you must take, are due to Joomla 1.5x and not the template, I discussed these in a separate thread under Joomla 1.5x, if you want to know more about it.

    Hi myronlee,

    The links below are “problems” you may encounter when you turn on the SEO settings to yes, and your installation is not located in the root, which are the set up for many of my sites. I am reserving the “root” for when the key extensions I use are already native to Joomla 1.5x

    configuration.php after Joomla 1.5x-JA Teline II installation

    Revisiting the 404 – Component not found: Not a Teline II Error but Joomla 1.5

    http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/revisiting-the-404-component-not-found-not-a-teline-ii-error-but-joomla-1-5/

    The key thing to do here is to check whether the configuration.php file was filled properly; most especially the link URL of the “active site” and the FTP username and password. The latter two, FTP username and password.

    Post installation

    First, after you finish the installation, you must make sure to convert

    htaccess.txt => .htaccess

    note the “dot” before h

    As installed, the Joomla 1.0x-JA Teline II or Joomla 1.5x-JA Teline II will work if the default setting in the SEO settings, you answered NO. However, if it is answered Yes , then you will have probllems as indicated in the above threads, if the configuration.php has not been filled properly — as describe in the links.
