I would like to have the frontpage items that are shown in the JAnews frontpage at the top to not be shown in the category below when it is marked as a front page item. Is that possible???

Also, is there a trick to the image autoresize to get them not to stretch out and look funky?

    Thanks.

    Hi.
Plz download latest version , reinstall 2 modules: Ja News and Ja News Front page. Ja updated that option for Ja News(Show Front page Item paramater) and you can try to change Autoresize paramater for image

figured out the problem on the autoresize. When I save an article with an image, there is code inserted in front of the images/stories path that is making the image stretch instead of scaled. This may be because I am on a developement site without the live domain name. I’m not sure, I guess I’ll see. But if I remove the path that was inserted in front of images/stories/… path, then it scales the images fine.

    UPDATE:
Upgraded to the newest JAnews fp module. Why does it seem like there is more spacing between articles than there was before? Looks like there is 3 <br /> after each article. Can you tell me how to eliminate some of this spacing? Thanks.

Got the spacing problem figured out. You cannot have any <br /> tags right before the <readmore> tag or it will add the space on janews frontpage. Also, cannot have any double <br /> before the <readmore> tag or it will add that break to the frontpage also.

I’m using JA News 1.3.1 and I can’t find a newer version (maybe I’m looking in the wrong place). I cannot find an option that disallows front page items, as mentioned in the 2nd post of this thread. Any suggestions? Thanks!
