I have downloade the JA Erica distribution but can’t find the JA Newslight module (even not after installation of the template); can this be downloaded seperately or is it included in the distribution?

Have you tried to install the quickstart? It gives you a better control if you are new to joomla world.
Also your download should contain this mod_janewslight.zip in the Extension folder.

I never used the JA Erica theme but the same applies for almost any JA template.
In my case (JA Barite) there is a mod_janewslight.zip module wich I can use in case I’ll start from scratch.

You should tell us the version of joomla and give us the link to your site, for further help.

I didn’t notice the extensions directory with the janewslight module in it … me stupid 🙂
