January 7, 2010 at 5:40 pm #328582Sure would be nice if they would just set a release date so that users don’t have to wonder and ask about when a template is going to come out every month.
I understand they don’t want to set a date because they might not meet it, but at least all the members would have an idea and wouldn’t have to just wonder and then start making threads and then you get the other people that want to bash you for asking questions.
It would just prevent and solve some issues.

January 11, 2010 at 9:09 pm #329009yeah. this is getting a little ridiculous.
I still think Joomlart got in over its head. Templates, Extensions, JM Templates.
Eventually something is going to give.

January 12, 2010 at 12:24 am #329017I think it’s better this way. Cause i’m pissed to wait & check it everyday :D:laugh:
If i had a date, i would come at the date only.
They should just know this & push more ads & news, maybe i would click on something each day i visit. Actually its useless…Arvind Chauhan ModeratorArvind Chauhan

Well, thats a misunderstanding. Templates, extensions are handled by separate teams and therefore, its not the reason for delays. January might also see 1-2 bonus templates, old JA templates remade on T3 framework.

Hi drarvindc, please release Teline II with mega menu support in the navbar (not like in t3!) and T3 framework :-*

January 15, 2010 at 11:53 am #329376Some consistency would be nice. Its a shame that its the 15h already and we still have no January template. Also JA likes to release a demo first so if we are lucky you will get your January template in February. Will JA give us a month cushion to renew our subscription after it expires?

I hope it is. It’s by far the most professional looking business template out of the box that they have released, but it was for Magento.
I’ve got faith in JA that they are going to turn this around we’ll start to see them back on track and headed in the right direction this year.

JA is pretty consistent with their release dates; new templates have all been brought out in the last two weeks of the month with the exception of the December template.
So I would not worry if nothing is out before the 16th of any month. 😉

January 15, 2010 at 7:01 pm #329406Guys,
Jan Template is due next week, its undergoing debugging now and the delay is coz of improvements made in the Mega Menu implementation and JA SlideShow II module, which we decided to include in the Jan 2010 template. Its better to start the year with something really good and added functionality.
JA Mega Menu is improvised and now no longer needs the code to be inserted in the Menu Title. JA Mega Menu Extended parameters in an easy to adapt and use has been incorporated. This again will be ported across the T3 Driven templates in the coming days.
These improvements has also delayed the release of bonus templates (2 slotted for Jan 2010), which are again being worked upon to provide these features.
JA Purity II is also due for version update. So technically we are working on 4 JA Joomla Templates this month and i still believe, with these 4 templates due for Jan 2010, we are on time.
Apart from these, watch out for what JA has for 2010, keep an eye on the JA Blog for updates.
Hope everyone enjoyed the New Year eve.
Hung
