Hi Joomlart

For some reason JAslideShow is not displaying all the Basic Options like I have on another website

It Shows
Resource Settings
Profile Settings

Not Showing
Sage Settings
Navigation Settings

Plus under Profile settings only shows Profile, no Skin

I have removed and re-installed

Plus upgraded to JA Slideshow 2.1.9

with no change

All running on Joomla 1.7.3

is this a recent install? did you install sample data?

Hi n6rej

Yes – a recent install, but another site that I have just installed is working fine

The reason I notice the difference

Plus both installed with No Sample data

Both installs have been Joomla 1.7.2 installs and the Joomlart Template installs

I have also upgraded both sites to Joomla 1.7.3

did you use our quickstart? and you said you used the same thing on both sites? Same exact steps?

Hi n6rej

I have tried with the quickstart, but had nothing but troubles. And it wouldn’t upgraded for 1.7.0 to 1.7.2

So no Quickstart used – just Joomla and then the template installed

And Yes to the same steps being followed on the other site

The only difference is Fabrikar is installed on this site

ah… have you tried removing it or at least shutting it off temporarily to see if that cures it?

Hi n6rej

I had disabled Fabrikar – but issues was still present

I have just gone to a fresh Joomla install

installed slide show – all showing correctly

installed Fabrikar – not showing correctly

un-installed Fabrikar – all showing correctly

So the issue looks to be another application

SO where to know – how do I get this resolved as I need both applications working together

ok assuming you’ve updated all jA with jae, then I would suggest one of 2 things.. either contact fabrik and ask them about it, or #2 use zoo which has a VERY nice app builder.
