JASLIDESHOW:

when you hover over the image it fades to black, read more shows up as well, but not the “desc” text.
I have all settings according to your sample. here is what i have in des- panel:

Any idea why the text is not showing?

all the text here img=”sl-1.jpg” ?

its because too many desc are trying to show up for 1 image and the others dont have a description

make sure the img=”filename” where filename corresponds to each file you have in your slideshow directory

what you should have is

How to link read more in jaslideshow to an article?

where in the JASLIDESHOW do you link read more fade in text to an article?

I had the same issue recently but I’m not sure if this will help you. I had 2 out of 4 images with descriptions working.

I took out all the info (above), deleted the 2 images not working from images/stories/jaslideshow (or wherever yours is located). Upoladed the images back to the same folder and put in the “description” text again in the necessary field.

Worked for me.

[Author]
